5 minutes a day Journal - Download
Journaling is one of those things that I have found to be really useful yet committing to it seems like a bit of a mission! In fact most things that require us to create action to help us feel better seem like “work”. However, I have come to realise through my own struggles and challenges that the only way we can create a healthier version of ourselves is to implement daily practices to get us on track. We can’t just sit around hoping for things to get better without doing the work. The thing is, it is beautiful work. I mean what better project to work on than yourself.
We can often think we need to do big and bold things each day but actually the small things done consistently is what helps us.
I have gotten into the habit of journaling now and I find it very helpful and useful to gain clarity if I am feeling a little muddled in my head. It can look like random words at times. It’s a bit of brain dump! But it really helps me to feel better and less “chaotic”. It can be whatever is coming up for you in that moment - such as drawing, writing down thoughts and feelings. It can be a creative process as well as an unpacking of what you are experiencing.
